NAIDOC Breakfast 2024.

We loved hosting our first NAIDOC Breakfast since 2019! It was a morning filled with community spirit, meaningful conversations, and delicious hot breakfast.

We were thrilled to have 3KND Radio broadcasting live from their brand-new mobile van for the first time, making it even more special that we were their inaugural community broadcast!

The morning started with a beautiful smoking ceremony by Nakia Firebrace, setting a powerful tone for the event.

Co-hosted with Hope Street and Margaret Tucker Hostel, we have signed an MOU to work together in providing vital services to Aboriginal women and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Worrelle Blow and Hope Street Acting CEO Sue Scott spoke with 3KND about the impactful work we're doing and the exciting plans we have for the future.

With over 50 people in attendance, the event was a fantastic reminder of the strength and resilience of our community. We’re grateful for everyone who joined us and look forward to continuing this important work together.
